Introducing a keto diet or a low-carb, high-fat diet to kids can be challenging. Before introducing a new eating habit to your kids, it is important to ask advice from the experts especially their doctors. Kids have different nutritional needs that doctors can help and guide you.
Watch this video and develop a deeper understanding of what a keto diet is and how to effectively start.
As a parent, you must also take into consideration that changing or introducing new recipes to the young ones must be a work in progress. Do not let your dining table be a battlefield by forcing them to eat what you have prepared out of their will. You can invite them to cook with you and explain one-by-one the health benefits of each ingredient. With this, they will slowly embrace the new diet you want to introduce to them.
We’ve gathered different kid-friendly keto recipes to help you with the transition.
